Unable to Log in Suddenly (The Lobby Server has encountered a critical error)

Thanks, Cats. That worked for me. Everywhere feels kinda empty without all the Steam players.

i get into the game, just wait for steam to calm down a little bit and we can log in again.

Just tested out this method myself and I was able to get the login options to load.

Edit: I didn't see this till after I posted, but Looks like Cats found the same workaround.

Yeah, after almost 1 hour of spamming cog->home buttons it finally worked for me as well.

This is G E N I U S.

Awaited "Service Unavailable" on web API, opened launcher, awaited error, hit settings cogwheel, hit home, repeated for about 2 minutes and the login behaved itself properly. I am now in game.

Had this issue again this morning.

Clicked the gear thrice and the sign-in loaded.
