I've never tried PvP in this game, yet, so please forgive me for asking the following question. Why are people concerned about Black Mages?

You're not wrong. I could post Screenshots like this all day. Get an opposing team who likes to group together? Your damage is going to be insane. And I'm pretty average at pvp. In the hands of a good player, SCH is extremely strong, but their damage is also dependent on other people playing poorly which in the higher ranks isn't going to happen much.

Yep if your team can't take care of themselfes, they are going to have a bad time. But neither a whm nor an ast can really help in that scenario. They can blow all their heals on the person and they still die because whats recup/purify/guard. I currently get a PLD a lot that can't take care of themself. My AST tried really hard, they still just melted.

And sch does at LEAST not need that much people be grouped close for the fact that deployment tactics is 15 yalms. That's quite big.
Dunno why Seraph is that small tho.

My point is: Sage and SCH are 100% not healer. 2 Adlos will not save people.
Sage is a dps and you can't tell me otherwise.
Sch is a support that works best with rushdowns. Basically same category as BRD in my opinion. They both can put a lot of pressure on people when the team can follow up on it.

I mean, people say 5 yalms on whms lb AND on Warrior is op, and deploymant tactic is 15, you really don't need the enemies to be that close together.

It's the same as GNB also not being a tank but a dps.
Green does not a healer make in PVP.

People still think SCH is OP cuz end game parse. But it is just a dot. And a small one at that. All it means you need to keep your hp in check. Neither Biolysis or tactics are a problem, the attitude towards them is.

People think the exact OPPOSITE because SCH isn't a healer but a support dps.
They say it sucks because it doesn't heal

I just don't understand how people say sch is bad if it's not. It's just not a healer.... but a support.

Still nothing about a fix for the broken launcher for Mac customers. :/

Yes healers aren't there to heal, they're support in PvP.

The Adlo is less for healing and more for the 10% damage buff that comes with it.

People should be healing themselves in PvP via potions.

Mostly PvP changes and not only that but they're still obsessing over BLM?

Really? Not even going to try and address the bias? And I'm saying this as someone whose first level 90 DPS was BLM.

Yeah, there's clearly a bias there. lol I'm grateful for the GNB buffs, but I feel that their adjustments missed the mark overall, especially by not addressing WHM.

Finally. It's less annoying that it was before when we had massive queues but still inconvenient if you needed to break for a shower or to cook a little something and couldn't just idle for that time.

I still think they should up it to an hour. That's the point that you're really idle and not just taking a small break for something.
