Not that you're a reasonable sort, but I'd still petition to assume people don't respond because of the very logical and smart design that you can only post a certain amount of times a day on the boards because if there's one thing better than communication, it's restricting communication. /s

Should've just stuck with the original system where you could buy a plot immediately as the prior tenant left. Led to an interesting dynamic with plot re-sales. Maybe have the lottery system ONLY for when new wards open, to prevent the mad rush when that happens.

The two aren't really that much different. IRL if you are able to purchase a house you have to continue to pay monthly to keep it. In FFXIV if you are able to purchase a house you have to continue to pay monthly to keep it.;)

This is patently false. You can get most of the ESO houses without spending a dime of real money. I know this because I owned every house in that game except the ones which were store exclusive.

Yep. Many if not most can be obtained for in game gold. I also have four full houses that were given away for free as part of ESO game promotions or events. Then there is the free inn room, though small, each character gets.

There's a lot of RNG in the game and any MMO, sub fees don't come with a house.
I mean I pay a sub too and I didn't get the weapon chest today in P4S REEEEEEEEE :@.

I get that it sucks but you're not entitled to a house ingame.

Personal housing was a huge mistake , it should be for Medium FCs only ( no FCs with less than 10 players) and most of thr problems would be avoided.

It is their choice, if you want make a content only available small percent of player base your are not providing this content to everyone which mean you are most likely loosing sub. I don't like housing and decoration in MMORPG, but many people likes this kind of stuff.. decorating homes and make RP evolving around it. If you prevent those people you will most likely lose their sub.

Savage content different, time gating necessary and it is supposed to be grind and luck based so they can keep you in game.

It doesn't matter for me but for SE it is actually matters :)

watch out for the next update saying " we apologize for the inconvenience as usual only 1 out of every 10,000 players will be able to get a plot even though everyone pays to get full access to the game we thank you for the patience as we continue to do nothing about housing "

for those of you stuck on "oh there's legacy , standard and entry" get real and get on with the context . what "type" of sub you chose or what duration you chose literally has nothing to do with ACCESS TO HOUSING. No matter what you chose housing is NOT available to you no matter what you pick. That's the main issue we are all paying sub for the game yet some can own it some cant, if they wanted to differentiate with different privilege's then do so ? but that's not the case no matter what you chose people still cant access housing .
