That method is on the right track. All the beastman do not need to be killed by the archers, just the three with special weapons. You can use the poison but you must not kill one of the three special beastman with it. The third wave in Gold Baz has the first mob with a special weapon, LNC. The fifth wave has the 2nd special weapon beastman, Shaman. The first or 2nd wave after the NM spawns has the last mob with a special wpn, MNK.

After you have had these three mobs killed by the archers, kill the rest of the mobs that are up, aside from the NM. Zombie Mage has popped right after the last mob dies.

Np SniperRifle, hope you get it to work for yourself. We've been unlucky with the Seal drop but did get 3 militia items!

Can someone help me know if there is a 'reason', 'logical explanation', 'lore/story' justification to why these things need to be done in this way to get a gold chest to pop? Or should I just not go there? ^.^;

(Trying to get 50,000 makes the rules of Fizzbin sound sensible).

maximizing the score right now is the way it is because its so low level

level 1 and 2 hamlets ARE LOW LEVEL, remember there will be 5 levels eventualy

and at the higher levels, just beating it will probly yield 50k points if they continue with the multiplier going up

Think there will be extra hamlet-related achievements when the Lv.3-5 battles are put in?

they may add some optional stuff, i know the "all combat" and "all crafter gather" achievements are supposed to be for rank 5 only, but they work at rank 1 cuz its bugged.

but 50k points is probly gonna be the top achievemnt(itl get easier to earn as you go up in rank, but the ranks get harder as you go up so its a trade off), as well as just getting 1000 wins as far as most of what happens there

they may of course add a new boss achievemnt for each rank as they add them(this would be my biggest bet) like we have for the rank 2 ones

does anyone know if the NPC have to kill the special mobs or just not die to DoT?

I'm not sure, and honestly our groups don't care to risk it. We just don't even use poison at all until after the mage is dead for the 3x debuff bonus.
