I don't think Microsoft thinks it owns the world. I think it is a company, and it wants to do what it can to make profit, just like any other company. Apple is making a lot of profit, at the same time it is remaking what it always has and people keep buying it. You forget Apple is software and hardware, Microsoft is mainly software. Yeah, Apple is growing to be really really big, and already is, but it does a lot. Anyways who cares if it goes on Xbox, really? I was talking about the CE edition in general. I want it to be better.

That would be nice, something a bit extra for 2.0 users who bought 1.0 CE. Maybe even the item given to the 2.0 CE people. Good idea.

It's a new client which we need to download off the lodestone page every 1.0 game sold would be put up in price you can still use the keycode i bet just can't use the CD or maybe they would make every company not sell the game but that be very hard to do.

Yeah most likely codes not activated before won't work. Codes activated will be fine. Yeah we will see the CE for PC, I hope they do us some good.

On topic: I want ps3 beta reaaaaaaaaaally soon.

As I recall the US one was that way because market research said no swag, ingame only for CE. I don't know how that went for sales but I assume the terribad ratings had more impact. Swag that relates to in game like say the Map is nice.

As far as the making of etc stuff, theres only a few production groups that have really found the way to do this for games. There are companies out there that do nothing but "making of" stuff for movies but there are many less that get games. Also where as the movie is pretty finalized before a DVD goes out. The game starts shipped and often with things cut at the last moment to be added in patches etc. So there's those last minute changes. I'm sure its fascinating film making to get it done right.

I might have to buy a CE over seas if it says no swag again.

If they give new limited edition items they better give us one to us without having to buy the game. All I'm sayin' >_>

I'd say we're already getting an "improved" CE. It's just called Legacy lol it's comes witha lifetime 9.99 a month price tag and a unique Chocobo mount. I'm pretty sure though that if they did make a CE out of 2.0 whatever is in it will be a given for those with Legacy status.

Though in order to have CE edition of something it has to be worthwhile to get, I mean it's harsh to say but rebranding this game and pushing it off as 2.0 doesn't really qualify itself to be given the status of CE. They could attempt to sell a CE of 2.0 but I highly doubt the sells would be good, they just need to focus on moving the product rather then offering 2 types of the product normal and CE.

As long as it's worth it's price i'll be happy with a new CE imo.

This reminds me, I never even got that adventurer certificate that was bundled in with the CE. I sent in for it a month after the game released and I never even got it. Tried contacting SE about it and got their usual "idunnowe'llinvestigate" spiel but nothing after that S:
