It won't affect your PS4 login at all.

This only affects people logging in using a Windows Steam licence. Any other licences on your account (PS4 and/or Mac) will continue to function as before.

Well, Gaben better hurry up, as the game does not start any more since today.

Yeah I feel bad for linux users, only a small % of PC users are having issues but none of you can play at all sadly ( unless you're on PC License not steam ).

Gabe Newell also plays FF14. He will notice quickly if the game does not start.

I half wonder if its a FFXIV client issue and nothing to do with steam. That means even if Gaben is playing the game and loves it, its unlikely to get fixed anytime soon.

Honestly, the whole Gabe and XIV thing just felt like a giant ad to me. I would say the only fix would be to install Windows, which sucks for the casual person who doesn't want to tinker with the Deck like that will be completely SOL.

It does make me lean towards client issue also, and since SE just made those changes, yeah might as well not hold your breath. I realize the # of people playing XIV is miniscule, but it's still a bummer..
