I thought this community was full of saints, that would just line up for tedious content over and over out of the goodness of their heart.

I've turned over to JP voiceover since I started Stormblood and now I managed to glean some mirth from the voiced speeches. Lahabrea's "Pathetic!" is somehow funnier and even more condescending in Japanese.

Many times the /afk'ers are actually RMT bots, the one controlling them queuing up for the MSG so they can progress to the point of unlocking profitable dungeons to bot in.
Typically, if they are a derplander or derplafel DPS, with a random string of letters name, they are part of a RMT bot squad.
/report and /vkick them as soon as possible.

Huh. I currently run through MSQ Roulette twice daily (one on each of two alts), and have been doing so for a while -- haven't run into anyone who's definitely AFK yet.

I have, however, run into party members who are so gung-ho about speed running that they leave party members who are new to the instance at the bottom of an elevator shaft with no way to go anywhere except directly to Nero after three cutscenes and a stroll through Praetorium via Magitech Armor.

Also, I'd be a bit leery of confessing to engaging in a vote to kick at the very last boss. If you notice it while fighting Nero, waiting another 25 minutes might be considered harassment. Best to kick them earlier.

The problem is that there's no real opportunity to vote kick before then. All those mobs that everyone skips in the first two rooms? You're still considered in combat with them until you take the elevator with the magitek armors.

Always been at least to my eyes proper players as they have proper names not like the bots who RMT shout in Limsa

This. You literally can't votekick until a certain point.

if only people would take the few seconds to kill these enemies... it would also make the new players life easier.... but oh no, that would be a ridicolous idea.
