Honestly I cannot relate to your issues at all. I personally hate having to minmax which essentially boils down to with this "tinkering" you are talking about. I come from a game where you constantly have to check which talents are the flavor of the month, what covenant to join etc. No thanks I love the static class design they made for us and how its intended to be played by the devs.
Secondly this game is combat focused? If I tunnel vision my rotation, Im pretty much dead on the floor in no time. Yet again in this other game I played the entire dungeon/raid boss mechanics is staying focused on the boss to minimize dps loss and never stop your rotation because mechanics require you to do so.
This game is such a fresh air compared to that I hope they never change it.
