Absolutely~ I've no doubt that the restrictions impacted the true number of players that may have been interested in Hroth (or Viera).

It's a bit of a weird fix, but personally I think they should allow hair bound to face races the ability to 'barber' their entire head then- just lock other racial features (like changing your race lol) behind the fantasia still. On top of that I think any mog shop related hair or hat should be ensured to fit the two races, of course everything work would be nice. . . but if it is really a challenge and it's the best they can reasonably do I think that would be two good bandaids to the issue.

As far as I know, they have never delved into the technicalities/limitations/bugs that come with scraping data off the Lodestone, which is very problematic when you're sharing data with other people. Their numbers are definitely inaccurate, but they are probably reliable (good faith).

To be fair:
- Lucky Bancho doesn't post his reports monthly. He does it once per 3 months.
- We don't know how exactly he fetchs this data, so we can't say if he does it in a single day or not.
- It takes several days to form report itself (data was aquaired at July 13th, but report was posted at 18th), so by the moment report is public it's already a little bit outdated.

That said, I think there're no ways to get 100% correct data anyway - the only people who has it are SE themselves. Reporters like Lucky Bancho just provide us some general data that helps to understand the direction in which the game goes with some trends in content and other things. So yeah, it's an estimate with some errors to it (or innacurate bur reliable in a good faith, as you called it).

We really need Bunny babes to take over the lead, they are so underappreciated.

When you see the Female Roes, you do understand SE for not really wanting to create female Hrothgar.
I think that this race/gender combo will be the least played (unless they look REALLY cool)

The elezen thing is sad.

I just race changed into a reptile so that is one fewer elf for now. I swear if they gave elezen slightly bigger heads and more fluid animations they would be popular.

I hope they do. I normally play elves myself but their proportions and animations put me off, so even with the clipping and hips I like lizard men better. And of course midlanders.

It always struck me as odd that they used one of the least played body types for them. I was hoping for something closer to Byakko, particularly given that this would've been closer to the Ronso body type too.

I 100% agree with the head thing. I don't mind the animations that much, but the anatomy/proportions part is awful (T_T).
