I actually found myself having more fun playing warrior at lvl 60, trying to get the most fell cleaves i could in berserk windows. It felt more satisfying than just getting 4-5 without even trying.

Haha fell cleave go burr
Along with I think being tied with GNB for generating the most aggro and having the best self sustain out of all the tank, good for raids if you wanna be mt or if the healers dead
It's not true that Inner Release has no interaction with the rest of the job kit. It makes your gauge actions free of cost while also making all hits direct critical hits. This means that it interacts poorly with Chaotic Cyclone and Inner Chaos, because you should not be using those abilities in conjunction with it, ever, because they auto Dcrit. It also brainpans you into using Fell Cleave, even though its effect still functions with any attacking ability, allowing it to interact with Vengeance. All counters that occur from Vengeance under Inner Release are also direct critical hits. Also, because it does not reset cooldown timers, you still have to line up both Upheaval and Onslaught so that you get them in while it's active.
Sure, it's not all that involved compared to old WAR, but your line of thinking here is disingenuous. We all know that Warrior doesn't have more skills because even one addition might cause it to topple back into being the best tank damage wise, sitting the new tank out. Inner Release only appears to be like Delirium on the surface. The only thing Delirium shares with it is the 0 gauge cost of the associated skills.
Technically, you don't have to manage PLD's MP at all in order to use Requiescat properly. All that is required is that you be above 80% MP. This means, if you wanted to be a special kind of bad somehow, you could spam Fast Blade for 2 minutes straight until you had gained back MP from natural MP regen, and you could still then use Requiescat such that it gave you the buff. Like misusing your very obvious combos, you have to purposely use Requiescat with less MP than you need in order to not gain its full benefit.
No Mercy is the same as Inner Release, conceptually, it's GNB's damage increasing button. It benefits when you stack most of your offensive abilities under its duration/ Gunbreaker's big hits are tied to timers more than they are to its gauge though, since its gauge is obtained from finishing its standard combo or from SparkysparkyboomSword-SuckySucky move which name I forgot.
All that's really different about WAR is that it has far less to put in under its damage up window, which is by design. They really want to keep WAR from being the best.
