It's really sad when the higher raids do get some incentive to do them via the moogle tomes and none of the Tower raids do. The other problem is there isn't anything for those who are close to 60/70/80 who'd like to qualify for something higher, but can't. Yes, I know there are trials but those don't give the same feel that a 24man does. Unfortunately I don't know what the devs could make that could cover that gap while also give that feel.
The minimum item LvL is as follow:
- Labyrinth: 50
- Syrcus: 70
- WoD: 90
Enforcing something like that, when almost no one is aware of any mechanic outside mayor ones, will most likely fix the current problem to the point that players will probably avoid Labyrinth and Syrcus.
Anyway, the way I will fix these issues is by doing two things:
- Before queuing, players need to unlock all the relevant duties (like with expert roulette).
- Tied the bonus experience to your item level and not your level.
The last one requires some explanation:
A level 70+ decided to queue for alliance roulettes and play the system to ensure Syrcus or Labyrinth. Well, now the exp reward will be balanced for a level 50 and not for a level 70+ (meaning is a total waste of time).
Another fail-safe, to prevent players from playing the system at a minor scale, is to give a bonus to those that queue with an item level that ensures participation to all 3.
A lvl 60 decided to queue for alliance roulette this will be the xp this player will get based on their item level:
- 175: 100% xp
- 205: 150% xp
- 235: 200% xp
Note: players will always get the max amount of xp, no matter what duty the roulette assign to them.
Bro I get your explaination but,, I remove gear to be illevel 70 and compliant. our group also has 5 min queues, What are you offering that beats that? Naybe miore exp perchance? really? Lets be real it has to be a big boost. Or anyone outside of "youre ruining my glamouurs" will make any sense
Ilvl cheeses are just another example of how lazy people are.
Rip off the training wheels. Base what roulette you get on your character's level and nothing else. I want that ilvl90 idiot to get thrust into Orbonne anyways. If they're feeling generous let them still change their gear once they're inside so that they aren't basically auto-kicked at the 5min mark but I'm not picky on that really.
If you are asking that you don't understand my proposal. In short: anyone queuing with an item level that participation in any of the duties relevant to their level gets doubled xp. Meaning if like you have the opportunity to do the roulette twice per day instead of one.
You should only be able to get level 80 tomestones with level 80 gear. They literally give you almost a full set for free... think you can easily get item level 420~ or something in weathered AF gear or whatever? A simple enough requirement.
Wanting to clear any duty in the most efficent manner possible is a good goal that everyone should have.
Manipulating antiquated game systems to save yourself time at the cost of other players is lazy, entitled and not something anyone reasonable would do or endorse.
At this point i just gave up and barely do that roulett anymore... I just want them to say f-it and do it like pvp - just sync everyone with too low gear to the min ilvl for the levelwise highest unlocked raid and force em to unlock all raids they can for using the roulet.
