They know we do Hunt trains. They don't need to remove all the rewards, nor do we need to chew through them in little anti-social 8 mans. Even if you miss half the hunts on a train due to lag you're getting tons of tomes and Nuts. The train organizers are doing good work for the community. You just have to roll with the chaos for a week or two, hop on the trains anyway and you'll do fine. There are definitely flaws with the Hunt and tweaks they could do to make it more enjoyable but lets not overreact. -

Someone logging on at the wrong time can miss out regardless of world visit. I'm not trying to present it as a good or bad thing. I'm just stating that it does happen. -

A couple days ago I was doing dwarf dailies when a friend of mine notified me of a train in progress. I thought I'd hop on, got to the zone the train was at and got myself in a party. When I arrived at the mark it was already dead. No big deal, I mean I just joined. Then I couldn't teleport to the next zone because of congestion. When I finally was able to, I had missed the first mark at that zone. I arrived at the second one just in time to see it die but didn't get credit. And just like that the train was over.
Gonna forget about hunts for a month or two. They're at their best with around 1-3 full parties. With 100+ players they're just messy, boring and stressful. I'll get enough upgrade tokens from just the weekly PB coins to upgrade two or three roles before the next patch anyway. -

Trains are great, we've been doing them since HW.
Cross worlding and server infrastructure though... yeeeeeah, thats the awful bit.
