It was like this until the moment we showed on The First. In one of the first MSQs Crystal Exarch pointed out that when he finally succefully summoned us, the passage of time between the Source and the First synchronized. But yes, at the Source all Scions are still their original age.

It's also not really that Ryne is showing so much skin, it's what specific skin she is showing. It's not just some thighs or arms. One outfit has very accentuated cleavage with a huge cut-out pointing to her crotch. Ryne in shorts and a t-shirt shows more skin than that, but due to the nature of how the skin is accentuated and where, that outfit would be considered very tame.

The outfit with the cut-out bothers me most because it very much highlights and points to parts of her body that would often be associated with sex. Her being wrapped up in a snake-like dragon bothers me less because the "clothing" isn't really pointing to any specific part of her body, so it's not drawing the eye to any one specific place as much as the cut-out outfit does. Not that it doesn't bother me though, because it does. Just less so.

I'm not disagreeing with is (though remembering myself and my classmates at our 16-17 I could argue about what folks are prepared to deal with and what not, but okay, that's not the topic). I'm not even in liking with her second dress, and still: I don't see it as sexualized. I honestly didn't even pay it that much attention until posts on Forums said about this. And still, again: we don't even know Ryne real age, except the fact she's "around twins age". If she's 17-18, which she probably is (3rd tome of Encyclopedia will say?), then this entire discussion here is for nothing.

Can we stop Lusting over Ryne and just enjoy the Fight?

This whole BS about "lusting over" happens only for a tiny minority. Every player with common sense and being raised in a normal surrounding knows how to differentiate between real life and videya game life. Just as not everyone gets at the sheer image of ficitional nudity horny thoughts and turns into a pedophile or sexual predetor (this has most likely other non-video game related issues on a deeper layer). As a prior long-term manga reader, I did notice fanservice of course but moved on just as quick afterwards without the mind being preoccupied 24/7 by it *rollseyes*.

It's ultimately the same viscious circle with violence in video games, just with different colors and premisse, just that violence, blood and gore are perfectly fine apparently *lol* /sncr.

Overall I guess it would have made more sense when ysayle took over ryne at the Dragon phase, because ryne never have seen a Dragon.

It would have been nice to fight the "original" Shiva as part of the savage fight.

If you check the dialogue before the fight, Ryne says that somehow Edén is showing our memories of Shiva to her. The dragon could be very likely in those memories.

Edit: as I said in a previous thread, it's alarming the people that are misunderstanding an attire with bare skin with sexualization. I don't know, if you see anything sexual-like in that fight, either the normal or savage, maybe you are the problem?

Some people have too much time and are bad at compartmentalization to make complaints like this.

The most reaction she got out of me was half a snicker and an "ironic" when I first saw her, but mostly due to the recent comments made by YoshiP. If not for that comment I wouldn't have thought much about it.

Then again, I was probably still cringing from Gaias lip job at that point.

That is entirely subjective though. You perceiving her outfit sexual does not make it so. In fact, how does this have any more "sexual connotations" than a teenager in a bikini?

Goto an out door swimming pool or a beach on a hot summer day, and you will see way more skin than this.

I saw another thread on this before doing the fight, when I did the fight I didn't see anything wrong with it.
