I migrated from uldah to limsa, i only go there to grab a few jobs at the adventurers guild and to sell my wares.
Damned city filled with sand and those filthy adventurers everywhere.Limsa pirates are as cute as mandragoras compared to them.

I had a hunch that uldah was going to be the de facto hub town until the world started to expand. that's one of the primary reasons I started there. I have a Deep seeded dislike of limsa due to being stuck there throughout closed testing. grid also reminded me to much of Windurst plopped right in the big middle of the Yhoator and Yuhtunga jungles. three areas that ranked at the top of my top 5 zones i hated dealing with in xi.
If I understand correctly Uldah is the place to be on every server.
I actually started in Ul'dah and tried my best to leave it behind.
Once Dunes Folks kicked in i was forced back, and as mentioned earlier soooooo many good Doblyn spots near the camps.
On the positive side of things. i really really really like the Thanalan music.
I hang out in uldah as much as possible, gridania is my starting city but its poop... huge pile of poop
I fight the migration.
Someone has to keep the other two cities alive!
The LS I belong to has a particular "meeting Place" of sorts in Ul'dah, though personally I prefer Limsa Lominsa, and I tend to migrate between cities depending on what craft I'm working on. Aside from that, I would probably take up residence in Ishgard if I could. (I picked my guardian well it seems. :3)
Honestly, I spend a lot more time in Gridania (especially Gridania) and Limsa Lominsa, despite Ul'dah being the most abundant with players at any given time. My starter city is also Gridania - I don't regret my decision. I like the green city. :)
I only go to LL for the BS guild.
I only go to Grid for the Leather craft and thats really it. everything else for me in in Ul'dah.
I have always preferred Ul'dah over the other two options since open beta, because Thanalan is severely less hard on your PC than La Noscea and The Black Shroud are.
Even some higher end PC's lag like hell when weather kicks in out in Noscea and the Shroud...
Side note... Noscea and the Shroud sounds like it could be the next big cop duo tv series.
