New GNB sounds, why?

Doesn't look like it... god fucking damn it...

I can't believe they haven't touched the sounds for patch 5.05. Please, for the love of god, adjust them already. I am so tired of the current wet sponge sword that sounds as if it's missing every hit.

Did anyone of you notice that these new sounds, sound like if you rub a pair of jeans against each other really fast.
In the Novice-Chat I told them that and seriously, one in the Novice-Chat really tried it and said it really sounds quite similar :D

We've come up with a new name for the Gunbreaker: The JEANSBREAKER!

Has anyone actually seen people say they like the new Baseballbreaker job sound?

Anyway does anyone know if the japanese players have a similar complain about this issue yet? I dont think they care about what the english players say...

There is noticeable amount of people who don't care, which is understandable. I have seen like 2 people who actually like it? Just revert it Square and end this mess.

On the JP side, on the gunbreaker thread, there is one comment recently saying the sound did not change, in a disappointed tone. Also she expresses that she would have thought the change would have come quickly (this patch). Thats about it for now. Most people are still at work or getting off of it right now in Japan, its around 8 PM here.

Just tried it in game no changes at all. It still sounds the same as 5.01.

I made a post about this in the official live letters question thread. Give it a like if you haven't already and hopefully we can eventually get this some attention.

As for now, I'm done with gunbreaker until this is fixed.

It genuinely makes me think the only issue was the volume. That or these guys are hardcore trolls because I swear people act like it sounded as thin as ninja despite it having a MUCH heavier swing and much crisper steel slicing sound + trigger pulling effects.

I'm sitting in game right now, not even sure what I want to do... whereas a week ago, I was like "I WANNA FATES!!! EVERY ROULETTE!!!! ALL THE THINGS!!!!". I din't even care what rewarded what, I was just genuinely enjoying the job, now I can't even feel good about it anymore. People act like its not important but part of a game's fun is the aesthetic and "feel" you get from playing it. If I wanted nothing but stats and numbers, I can run an RNG simulator of some sort...

Totally this, I started learning to tank just because of GNB's sound effect, I really liked it but now I''m just gonna play DRK until maybe(?) they revert it.
