Whats your personal favorite job?

White mage.

I've mained it since 2.0's launch and hitting 50. I still played it even when AST took over and pushed it utterly out of the way. I really love what they've done to WHM in 5.0; the wings feel great and having instant heals off that eventually let you weaponize your anguish after the last 4 years feels great.

Basically, WHMs turned emo and it's amazing.

I will say new AST is very fun - I like it a lot more now over what it was in SB. I love how every card is now worth something. It struggles healing in leveling dungeons IMO, but it's still not that terrible. I just don't think a lot of players actually like hitting their GCD healing buttons.

Dancer is my ShB Job.

Hmm. My favourite changes a lot, it really depends on the mood I'm in and what the most recent patch is I guess. I am currently mainly playing DPS so that is also a factor.

Current fave DPS: Samurai

But Dancer is pretty high, but its really busy and sometimes my ping makes double weaving impossible. These are my only two 80s at the moment.

I enjoy Healing at times, though I'm pretty bad at it, my current fave healer is SCH.

I use to main Tank and its bounced back and forth between PLD and WAR. Currently PLD > WAR. I haven't tried GNB yet though.

I've only played the starting classes a bit. Red mage seemed cool on paper, so I started a BLM when I began playing again last month. I have to say, I really am enjoying BLM and being able to melt mobs with single or AOE.

I was always interested in playing Dark Knight but I've not made it that far in the game as of yet. Now I hear a lot of forum talk about Dark Knight losing it's identity in the latest patch. But I've never played the class so I really don't know the classes evolution of playstyle.

I am also interested in unlocking the gunblade tank class. I don't know a lot about it yet, but I am envisioning Squall from ff8 and looking forward to when I get to the new DLC content and unlock the newest classes.

Im torn apart DRK, GNB and WAR.

I like how easier it is to play warrior, but at the same time i cant really play him for too long, so i get into other two to realise how bad i am at doing rotations. xD

It used to be Scholar. I've always loved Summoner too, but I haven't played it enough yet in ShB to know how I feel.

White Mage is great. Absolutely love Dancer.

Dang not one person had mentioned Bard.

Personally I love 5.0 BRD, combat flow feels good, not too much to do, not too little. Apex is a little underwhelming for having such a long wind up and the shorter range than basically every other skill can be annoying. Was sceptical about losing so much of our support toolkit at first but I actually ended up enjoying the class more than I did before.

PLD Since 2010.

DRK as second since 2015.

So far, of the 3 classes I've leveled, I've liked them all.

DRK is a nice simple tank that doesn't make me freak out from tank anxiety, the execution is fairly straight forward so I can spend more time concerning myself with personal and party mitigation and boss/mob positioning and mechanics.

MCH is again fairly straight forward to execute on with gauges and meters that do not demand my constant attention, I can use hypercharge and automata queen when I'm ready for it, my only complaint there is that I seem to be constantly watching my cooldowns for gauss barrel/ricochet, but I've found myself doing that with other classes too.

WHM is good right now, really liking the lilies as a spendable resource rather than just....there...but its as powerful as its ever been

I've also tried DRG, but even at 75, it just doesnt click with me, I just dont think I like melee in this game.
