I will concede to you on this point.

However, what are you proposing the difference be? They could use the same model, but change the name, the stats, and the location... and would that make you feel better? Or, they could take the time to create a different skin for the same monster so it looks slightly different and 'unique' just for that quest. In the end, it's the same thing anyway... Those world NM's are meant to be sought out and killed ... either solo or with a small group. They're not meant to be hard or as a defining part of the overall storyline. They are 'space fillers' among other, more interesting and intricate quests.

He just doesn't like having his time spent on an MMO.
Perhaps he shouldn't play one.

He SPECIFICALLY said that these are quests to open up character customization and will not be difficult.

"The series of job quests will not involve extremely difficult tasks such as fighting primals. Rather, they will be new game elements intended to boost character growth and motivate players."

The implication here is that they will be developing harder content for those that know there class.

I find all the ones I have done for the most part challenging to some extent or another. Then again most of the quests are meant to do as you are leveling up, not already being 50.

You guys forget that the darklight and new weapons come from the boss drops in the new dungeons.

Speaking of which the Ant princess boss is pretty fun.

Just to point out, that's a quest that is meant to be done at level... 35 or 30, was it? Which is roughly where a new player would actually fight that NM normally, so theoretically they wouldn't have fought that NM yet. So they thought it was pretty frivolous to add a check to see if you had fought the NM previously, given you'd be highly unlikely to have done it already at that level. But you came into this with a lot of gametime under your belt and a level 50, so stuff that would ordinarily be the first time you'd do, you've already done a hundred of times before.

Agree with you.

I just think SE should show some respect for those of us who have been playing their game for over a year and not just recycle old stuff and name it new content. But if they must do that the least they could do is throw a bone at us and not force us to sink time in it if it can be helped.

So yes, I think the amount of time you have to invest in this game to have a little fun is way too much.

Again, it's sad, and if SE is thinking they will keep the players interested in the game longer that way they're wrong, they will lose more people by demanding they sink time in boring worn-out stuff than they manage to keep.
