They need to stop porting MMOs to consoles. I know it makes money but also ughhhhh it makes it so lame for PC players.

I'd like to remind everyone of a random fun fact that even I'd previously forgotten about. When the PS4 released in Japan on Feb 22, 2014 (based on my Google-fu, anyway), they had a beta test for FFXIV's PS4 version starting that same day.
So it's entirely possible that SE could work closely with Sony to get a PS5 version soon (read: at least two months) after the PS5's Japanese release date (whenever that ends up being). -
