This is true, but 1.) other than Gilgamesh and Mateus, it is the root Roleplay server, and if I was only on here to play the PvE or PvP aspect of this game, then you'd be right. I -could- just transfer to another low-pop server. However, doing so would separate me from the RP community, and that's not something that can be bridged by cross-server tells, linkshells, and party finders. All my friends in the RP community are here, and I would not abandon them. 2.) This isn't about -me- specifically getting a house or not, as I've already stated multiple times. This is about players abusing a system that was never meant to be abused, for the purpose of griefing other players, or exploiting said system in a way that SE would not allow, abuse that I and many others have personally witnessed and experienced. I'll wait for a house until my thumbs fall off my hands if I have to. I don't care if I -never- get a house. It's not -about- that.

The timer on buying a house the normal way is still random. So they can try and game it all they want, but there is ZERO guarantee their friends would even be able to buy said house as the timer could be an hour, or it could be 20 hours.

I would also like them to give people their money back if they decide to relocate back to smaller plots from bigger ones... It's really dumb.

I know, I was just explaining why that happened so people don't be making wrong assumptions.

I have no clue on a solution right now, I was only here to post to show what you said was a real problem and not making it up, hence why i was replying to the post that basically said they can't see this happening when it did on our server.

This is how I can tell you don't understand what the problem is or even how the system works. The plot that's left behind will be on a timer as well...meaning they can camp on that plot also and once again have it relocated to on them...then go to that plot and have it happen again...etc.

Oh stop it. Nephthys is just being brutally honest on a subject thats been complained about continuously for YEARS.


This timer is a direct result of the housing issue we constantly complained about.

Now people are complaining over the timer that is mostly to discourage flippers, though clearly its not that effective.


people now are locked to two house an account, which gives them the ability to move freely, which still thus leaves an empty plot behind. No matter how much someone relocates, there's still a plot left behind. Yes it IS on a timer you can be beat out on by either a relocator or someone who just happens to click the sign faster than you when the timer runs out. Either way you can be beaten by luck or timing. There's nothing you can do to change this. and the suggestions the OP has are not fixes. A fix would be forcing housing to be instanced or just adding more housing when wards fill (which funny enough we still have empty wards with houses sitting waiting to be bought), but neither of those are going to happen any time soon.

I understand on more high pop servers housing is still an issue. But the fact of the matter is SE made these changes because of the common complaints about housing. They couldve done nothing and continued to let one person own a whole ward and flippers to run amuck and etc...

While people do complain about this, it's not what -we're- complaining about in this thread. It's been spelled out perfectly clear so many times in this thread it bears no more repeating. I know your thought process exactly. All you're reading is "Housing. Timer. Complaining." That's all you read before you jump to the conclusion that I'm just whining about not getting a house, just like Nephtys did, and just like you are doing now.

I need everyone to read my entire OP and actually digest it, and actually figure out what I'm really saying before you jump to conclusions and respond accordingly.

Did it occur to you that YOU Are the one not paying attention here?

Maybe i'm just a sheltered EU resident here but seems to be a problem mostly on Balmung so what suggestions do you have OP that won't screw over everyone? System we have now is just fine for the bigger mass.
I'm sorry you can't get a house and your server is overpopulated.

Simple solution is making a relocation lock out for a small 5ish days after you've purchased or relocated to a new plot. This stops what to OP is witnessing on their high pop server but also doesn't greatly effect any other server.

That would leave us with camping plots again like it was before. Don't see how that will help the situation?
