NPC faces on Mog Station

Oh alright. I agree with you NPCs should stay unique but it would not hurt to get at least some parts of their faces or at least something simliar. Only parts and not the whole face. In the end I want just a way deeper character customisation in the next expansion. I would want that even more than a new race.

Type in the NPC's name into the search bar on the left side, select the npc, click on appearance, you're welcome.

Some NPC's faces are unique or have unique features like eyecolor e.t.c. but it will still show the rest of the appearance :)

How about a butt slider in mog station,
I am sure it will sell very well, big profit to SE, yay

This doesn't make any sense though. Adding new faces to the client won't change packet data size in any way, shape, or form. It's simply a different number string to be called. Right now either things process by having numbers like: 00000001 = First face/eyes/lips/nose/etc. And they have a bunch of numbers in that packet for each individual thing. OR they have every possible combo for faces in one number string so each number is a full combination of things.

Adding new faces or customization would not change that in the slightest and you would still be dealing with the same amount of data that has to be transferred.

I think Yoshi-P meant they couldn't add new categories of character creation options (like adding an option to choose AuRa horns or butt-sliders) without effecting packet data.
But like you said, adding new items to existing categories (including the Face category) shouldn't effect the packet data.

Yes, when you run your game of hamster wheels and potatoes, it beomes a problem. They really should do what WoW did a few years back and do a complete server upgrade. But that would require some real effort on their part.

I agree with updated faces and always for more attractive characters

But I've seen roadkill more attractive than Fordola
