Oh I'm not disagreeing on the weapon drops (just not the totem drop rate), I can believe it and it should be increased. In fact, the token system should be removed and just drop the rare/ex items into a loot pool like they did in Darkhold. Would make sense to me...

I think the most valid point in the original post is darkhold gear needs to be improved. I'm not going to argue that it should be meldable or better than materiad-craft gear, the fact that my Mitts of the Lone night are blue in my inventery yet have a meager 3str 2mnd(or something like that) is kind of irritating, when I could plop a T1 materia into a pair of gloves and they become better than these.

As for the ifrit drop rate, that is a huge exaguration. I didn't get a drop besides a few totems for the first 10 kills, and it was frustrating. However, now I'm at around 50 kills and have 12 totems and 4 weapons with 2 repeats. I'm not buying the 150+ for a weapon and a totem. The way statistics works is you may have a good streak you may have a bad streak, but the more you do the closer you get to the actual rate.

The fixes for primal loot imo would be a) they don't drop doubles or b) weapons go to loot list.
