Unless of course they buff it so that its potency is stronger than Flare, but in that event Freeze would be the only spell BLMs would spam during AOE phases (and with infinite Umbral MP!). That doesn't sound like a meaningful solution, either.

Yes, semantics. The point is that the spell is garbage and needs help (i.e. it’s so bad that you can’t make it worse). There are many ideas out there, and at this point I’m curious to see if SE ever gets around to doing something about it. Preferably at the same time or after they address the larger picture of BLM general lack of competitiveness.
