I suspect the $18 price on previous items was more due to that being an equivalent price (afaik none of those items were free and had to be obtained through means that took real life money) to what it took to get the items in the region where they were first introduced...a sort of forced equity between versions.

This one appears to be based on the idea that individual pieces of an outfit are generally "worth" $3 each...which is the usual price for many of the individual items on the store. I think the $18 items were the exception to the rule.

How about instead of weapons it was a giant floating scythe minion that performed combat animations when the owner was in combat stance?

The scythe options seem a bit nonsensical to me. There's either going to be a conflict with animation or the blade won't be used. For instance, BLM and WHM will just use it as a staff; they're range jobs, so the blade is useless. DRG will just use the tip at the end, like it's a spear, not using the blade at all. The swinging animations of the WAR will make it look like characters are trying to to break the scythe, than using it as a weapon. DRK seems to be the only one to make sense with it, in terms of speed and range.

As far as the dress goes, it should be dryable. I'm also not sure about the "shiny" texture on it (I didn't exactly like it with Edda herself). It also seems like the eye patch is attached to the hat. I'm probably going to skip this one

I'm happy to see the outfit is listed for a more reasonable price, its such a shame it is not dyeable though or I would have purchased it right away ^_^;

That is the single most absurd reasoning for any gender-locked outfit. You know what sells better than any gender-locked outfit? Non-gender-locked outfits. It's amazing, it's like you instantly double the possible revenue or something.

Disappointed to hear this isn't dyable. Would've been hard enough to not feel a dime-a-dozen with a dyable outfit, but this? Think I'll wait with this one.

But non-gender outfits don't include a femine dress.
It would be a blank unisex outfit
