Wasn't the first strange geographical location. Remember south Shroud before PoTD arrived? That giant hole in the ground? Strange that both are created and left unexplained until SE sees fit, if it is indeed POTD V2.

That hole wasn't unexplained. Quest NPCs well before PotD talked about it being the ruins of Gelmorra. :P

I wish for some Keeper of the Moon lore too :(. So much Seeker of the Sun lore :(.

Aye. While I appreciate PotD for what it is, I curse if for what it's cost us.
A proper, explorable Gelmora would have been great (as would a different path for a certain someone's storyline), but instead we got Rogue-Like-Lite. :-(

There is a few blips of really hard to read Duskwight lore tucked into leves flavor text. I remember a particular miner one at Quarrymill that had the elementals demanding all Gelmorra related ruins that have been exposed post-Calamity be destroyed. The Elementals considered the founders of Gelmorra and Ixal destructive parasites.


Xeala and Raen got TONS of lore in Stormblood, but aside from Seekers, no one else has really gotten too much in that department. Even in the case of the Seekers, we've only spent time in two tribe's settlements. I think Plainsfolk are worse off as far as race lore and history goes.

Yeah, I've seen that bit. It's extremely frustrating that the only lore they seem willing to provide is just, "Haha look at this cultural heritage of an entire race. It needs to be destroyed because reasons." Combined with how the Duskwight get treated by a lot of NPCs... SE seems to have a hate-on for this particular race. >_<
