Just my thoughts after the raid this weekend.
After doing V4 Savage now for a bit and still working out the fight in general I will say I have noticed the ScH issues a lot more now then I did.
Example: My adlo is around 6k heal with a 6k shield. (Rounding all this) V4 Savage first phase. his auto attack is around 10 to 12k... so yeah.... pray for crit for auto attacks? but you are melding in det pretty much when you can now.... I am also using swift cast to heal up the white-hole spell and I can either pop second succor (due to how weak it is) or maybe idom (If I know I won't need one sooner than later). Depends on what part of the fight we are talking about, and you still have to prep for the next knock back with black holes. To sum up yes our heals do feel light... our shields just make me sick at this point. I have to admit our fairy does help, however, it is so little so late that I am having a hard time with it. Don't get me started on the level 70 skill either during this fight. I hope the devs are looking at this fight for what to do with the healing classes. Watch a ScH, if you can, do this fight that is not in full 340 gear and see what is going on. It is doable there is no doubt in my mind but seems way harder than it has ever been for a ScH to keep up with the other healers. Speaking about content such as this.
I have been a scholar for a while now and this is the first time that our class actions bug me. A few don't work together really at all, the ones that make up our lore don't seem to do anything, and my fairy feels like she was beaten up. I kind of feel bad for putting her in this spot, she has to be sick or something. Slow heals, takes too long to respond to commands, she gets beat up all the time by AoE now and the level 70 skill is just.... blahh. My first "cure" spell is weak and has no extra buff or point to it other than the mana save (please Devs add a 15% chance to make next adlo a crit or something). Not that I really have an issue with mana in these fights only when the crap hits the fan. (My fault more than the class)
I hope the devs are looking at these raid encounters and all the post that everyone is making. 4.05 was nice to a few parts, some parts I don't think they needed to change, but really guys/girls... My shield is about as good as the auto attack. The auto attack!
Nym was beating by a dust bomb... Our shields couldn't keep the dirt out of the eyes of the army. It was sad. Never forget. LoL
