Posting in Legedary Thread.

In all fairness to the op...when I first heard about FFXIV, I was sold on it being a game that could be solo'd. Which meant, I didn't have to go through the anguish I did in XI to set up a party. My husband and I could play just the two of us...I kind of feel like I was baited and switched on. The game is not only taking a turn toward party play, which I'm am cool with, this IS an MMO.

However, considering that I sunk a lot of money into a new rig, so my husband and I could play with just us, I was expecting SE to follow through on the way that this game was sold to me, meaning I could still do content without being required to join an ls, to block out time, to compete for NM's/coffers/etc. (Also, for me being able to duo just the two of us, I am so content with having a very low % drop rate in exchange for being able to do battles with just me and my husband so I can see different aspects of this game).

The thing is the community as a whole did want change and such, and it's obvious that has occured and will occur...just can be frustrating from a financial pov and consumer pov on what you were originally sold on. Perhaps that is how the op feels and he obviously has a hard time putting that into word? I will say, his post did make me LAWL pretty hard.

yea, sooo.., one tie a saw a guy inthe desert g afkso ihtought it would be funny to back my chocobo up and put its but inthe guys face. that sounds alot like your story so if your on mysidia, sorry, wa just a joke.

Im glad this guy ain't on my server :) If i saw him speak ingame i would report him for bad language xD
