I've loved NIN since 2.4; now it feels even faster and sleeker and I love it even more.
Ninki is kinda weird but I like it, I just wish I could move with Ten Chi Jin.
Definitely Red Mage.
I love how its more of a situational (balance gauge) & proc based rotation that flows very naturally.
By reading this tread, I feel like MNK is kinda an unpopular job... We didn't really get new toys to play with in SB, and the gameplay is kinda the same that it was in HW; But the job is still much fun to play, nervous and fast-paced. I've not seen a lot of MNK in game as for now, however.
Still SMN & AST.
Of the new classes, despite being a ''magic guy'' I think I have to give it to SAM. I love the sword play moments of RDM absolutely hate the mana building routine.
Red Mage. absolutely.
I've honestly not enjoyed any job in this game as much as I am enjoying Red Mage right now.
Monks have always been like that. Personally, I love how easy it is to learn the job as you level. Plus, monks have this delightful rhythm in their playstyle. It's easily my second favorite damage dealer.
And, Khelys'to, what you enjoy is not up for community vote. If you like monks, you like them. :D
Don't forget, a lot of players are leveling red mages and samurai in a search for something new which does good damage. I have no doubt we will all be seeing more monks after the 4.05 damage adjustment patch.
Samurai because I am a weeb
DRG, even though I first brought SCH/SMN to 70. In HW I really enjoyed BLM, but when it comes down to serious content I always end up playing DRG. Yesterday I played around with SAM, so far it looks quite interesting. Right now my priority is leveling my DRG to 70 while getting the best gear for my SCH so I'm a bit more flexible for raids. Afterwards... don't know. Perhaps leveling SAM or BLM. :)
I've been enjoying MCH a lot, though I haven't begun to even think of touching the optimal rotation that's been going around until tonight when I finally reached 70. My chore for tomorrow is to hunt down my optimal rotation tomorrow and sit in front of a practice dummy until my fingers bleed and by then it's a toss up for whether or not I'll still enjoy the class or not. Particularly given it's lack of proper DPS capabilities and lower support capabilities as well. Beyond that what I played of SMN was interesting and SCH... Well, we don't talk about what they've done to my main class. At least not without all the salt in the Loch coalescing into one giant mountain of death.
