Double up SP at 25+ please.

SP gain as it is now is fine. Don't need to go overboard. If you're not getting enough SP, find a party. Otherwise, it's you own fault for trying to solo everything.

I'd suggest SE change the dlvl limit from 10 to 20 ranks. That way we can SP grind on mobs that are higher than 10 ranks above us and give us more choices of what to fight.

You are right. I think the amount of time it takes is ridiculous. It's numbers from an old school MMO world. It needs to be a lot less. I don't think they're in any hurry to change it though since there's nothing awaiting the level cap.

Well, i cant blame ppl for going solo... as it was just before the shutdown,
there werent many ppl actually playing & it's been like this for a few weeks a month or so now.

It's a shame thou, it's really or could be a really potential game.

So ya, it's been hard trying to find a party lately. (well atleast up until recent events ofc)
If anyone's to blame, blame the players that b!tched & left,
mmo games arnt suppose to be a "48hours to complete" game... those are called offline games.

Dont like it?...dont play mmo's.

If you take the game seriously enough you will eventually get to rank 50.

The problem here is grinding is the only content in XIV. And if you remove that, then there is truely nothing to do. (Quite pathetic really)

Just to burst peoples bubbles you can get rank 50 in 1 month. I could show you someone who has 5 rank 50's and plenty of rank 40+ and they've gained rank 50 in 1 month during each SP change phrase. So since the release you could do it, its just not accessible to those without the knowledge and resources.

oh i am not saying it's not possible to do in a month since in 6 months i have a 50 and almost everything else is 30+. i am saying that if it takes a year to get content and all of your classes are 50 what will you do? you will leave the game because there is nothing to keep you here.

btw, no you are the one that complains someone learns faster than you so you need to be put on a sliding scale so you could pass. we leveled faster and now you want it to make it easier to level so you can keep up. the thing is you still won't keep up if you double the sp we will still level 2 classes to your 1 til there is nobody left in the game because nobody has anything to do.

you did bring up a good point there would be more people that could do things if everyone had every class to 50 before the ps3 came out, but think before you speak when you answer. what is there to do after 50? the answer is nothing. leveling is supposed to be an accomplishment not something given to you. xi at this point takes no time to level because they already have so many capped players there is no reason to hold someone back. they have had 7 years worth of monthly dues so allowing new people to level fast is the only way they can get new people to join. this game is in its infancy and people already want to level easy. if you did that in 1 year the game would have absolutely nobody left playing after the ps3 was released.

come to think of it the only content besides leves/behests is those 3 nms they added.

that was all i was getting at and saying i wasn't opposed to making it easier to level after content/cap increase is because there is literally nothing to do past 50.

sure you can do nm's, but really how many times do you have to kill them in a row before you get bored of them. our ls allows dd's in as early as 45 and mages 38, but have filled the spots with healers 20+ just to finish off the group for healing only. yes, it is fun to go off and kill the nm's a few times, but it gets boring after a few times fighting each and realizing they each only have a few attacks and even though they hit hard are really nothing special. just in my ls by the time you finally cap you have been fighting nm's for 5-30 levels so there is nothing left for you to do.

There is, one knows how to play his class the other is not.
I'll exaggerate a bit to make my point easier to see.

Now tell me whats the difference between people that take 1 month to level up and people who get their characters directly at max level?
Following the same train of thought there is no need for any other gear in te whole game except the final one.
So you guys say that in this game we should get our characters at max level with max gear?
Maybe Bosses and enemies in game should all be one shot too, I mean there is no point in having to hit an enemy multiple times, it gets tedious, and if we have already max levels and max gear whats the point of killing monsters in the first place?
To Follow a story?
Why should I play a game to do that? I can watch a movie and I can read a book.

Ok I'll stop exaggerating now and I'll give a more logical example.
Would't it take away the fun to have access to all of the classes abilities in a month of gameplay?
I don't wanna have access in everything from a game's start, games never played like this and RPGs have levels for that reason, to give the impression that a player "grows", if you take away that aspect you just have an action adventure and I am not here to play an action adventure, I am here to play an RPG.
Leveling SHOULD take time, it's part of the fun.

This comment should prove better that any other point in this thread that FFXIV doesn't need to give more SP.
Ranking up is already very fast.

The only people that are really going to dissagree with this are people who are at rank 50 already. They wont get compensation for the change lol.

The only people who would agree with this are new players.
They don't really wanna play the game, they just want to have high leveled characters.

i dont think we need to rush through the game. personally i'd like to play this game for a long time. imo double SP is completely unneccessary.
