When buying HQ, go in n look for it.
When buying NQ, aim for lowest price, or whatever you prefer to pay.

If someone is to ask, "well how do i know if its hq or nq?"... what did you intend on buying in the first place? ... is what I'm refering to. You obvi went to the AH to buy something, not browse at numbers n items looking for a deal... did you? If so, wait til 1.20b to do that.

It would be suspicious to me if all 20 entries in the history were from the same person. However because I can't see the name, who knows if they were legitimate purchases or not.

Imo, putting in a sales history without proper safeguards against rmt/scammers is a big mistake. They should leave out the sales history for now until they are more prepared with a more complete system.

Now I understand that the history gets erased during server maintenance which helps in some ways. However it also just gives people another opportunity to throw things way out of whack every maintenance. It'll be like after every maintenance the prices will be like as if the items just came out for the first time.

You can see the retainer name of who is selling something now... if you see on the current sales list
42,308 for the item and Joe Tainer and all you see in the history is the example above, but someone else is selling the item for 12K... which one you buying?

I'm a miser with my gil. i don't plan on using the buy from list thing that much. If i do it will be for the cheep consumables/mats.

Got to say i am not that happy with the extra fee thing. I Kinda see where there coming from with it, the forums were chanting gil sink just as much as they were class uniqueness early on. and my digital feets will save me from paying the extra bit as always.

I knew it was to good to last, Square implementing features with out shooting them in both feet before they even hit the servers. Son i am disappoint.

Like I stated in another post, you people cry about everything and anything. They already told you it's coming in a future patch, yes you are playing essentially an open beta until 2.0 comes out. And yes you are going to pay for this open Beta on top of it! Deal with it or don't play the game, I can't be sympathetic to all the retarded stuff on this forum.

The entire purpose of it being added was because people threw a million fits over having to OH MAI GAWD run to the retainer to buy stuff, instead of having a I CAYN'T BELAIVE AIT proper auction house. They both served the exact same purpose, one just has you scoot your buns to an NPC, where you purchase it.

Now, there's a service that brings the item to you, it just costs you 5% (with a maximum charge of 4,000 gil). I just suggested that instead of getting mad about having to pay a whole 4,000 gil, you could instead walk to the NPC, the same way it's been for a year (minus the search function). If you don't want to walk, you don't have to. There is no flaw in this. Stop being mad for no reason...this is an optional function.

Could you imagine the forums w/o someone complaining about something new not meeting their expectations. It happens every patch. People must have nothing to do but this game all day... doesnt anyone else just read the stuff and say cool "they are adding XYZ"... it's always "why didn't they add ABC!!! or EFG!!! or HIJKLMNOPQRSTUVW X..." "THEY DID ADD X YOU DIDNT READ!" "WELL THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE Y" "... THey are doing Y.." "Has anyone heard if they are doing Z?" "Yes.. they are"

Now I know my ABC's next patch won't you complain with me... wait a second...

Good grief, this is just the initial implementation of the feature. They will refine and iterate as time goes on. They even recognize the issue in the OP and have plans to fix it at a set time. Yeah, all these things and more should have been implemented yesterday, but it is what it is.

The features they are adding in are much improved over the crap we have to deal with now. I for one, am grateful.
