Se really needs to fix the primal data center. This is the second time this week first Saturday it's down for 4 hours or so and now this today.

Kicked from Leviathan here and can't get back in.

It doesn't look like it's an ISP issue this week as only Primal is affected (if it was ISP routing like last week then people would be having the same issues with Aether too). But to answer your question, because the NA servers are physically located in Canada and the EU servers are located in Germany and the JP servers in Japan. Their physical locations mean that getting to them requires very different network routes.
