The restriction is useless. It's been useless on anything else they've put it on, too.
I'm not sure why they would arbitrarily make it harder to play the content they put out.
Regardless of the actual difficulty of the content, people should be allowed to try DF if they want to.

You would queue in with your PF fixed party and it would be like raiding with a PUG group, you would stay for a few hours and it would be fun. Instead you have to do floors 51+ (a few hours), and then do 101+ with the same party, and I guarantee that after a few hours people will be done (before you even start the content that you need a fixed group for). Now because this is PF, the chances of continuing at a later date with that same group (has to be the same group) could be up in the air, if just one guy says "nah I don't want to" and deletes their save, you have to start again. Granted, the community will adapt and a few groups will be fine with the setup, but this is horrible gating for the vast majority of players, even players who can raid (like myself).Quote:

That 51-100 restriction is there to prevent people from farming 101-110 and devaluing the loot.
I can't say I agree with it, they should tweak the system so you have lower chance to get hoards from the first 10 levels and chances increase every 10 level, reward people for doing a full run of each set and clearing 41-50, 91-100, 141-150 and 191-200 instead of staying in the first 10 levels. -

According to the Deep Dungeon ranking you can solo 101+
A SCH in the Primal Data center has gone to floor 130 alone.
The only thing is you have to solo to unlock it...so you have to solo and beat floor 100 alone then you can solo 101+ which probably isn't super easy. There are only a few people on a few jobs on certain data centers who have done it so far so it is possible obviously even if difficult.
I duo with my boyfriend and we are on floor 121 currently and there are some difficult trash mob things that can wreck you pretty bad but really it doesn't seem too much harder than lower floors...so I am confused why it isn't available for matched parties.
I guess 151+ might be brutal but then they could have at least put 101-150 for matched too idk -

The idea is that you form a static just like raiders have statics. Floors 101+ are intended to be a 4-man alternative to 8-man raiding. It is intended to function the same.Quote:

However, why also punish small parties? They intended the place as a challenge so let people challenge it with the party type they want. I usually duo PotD with my OH and knowing that we can't continue after 100 is a bit upsetting.
I don't DF it but people should be able to do soif that is what they want. It reminds me of the old habit of only making a new raid available when you are in a full party, except you didn't need the same party every time. While I have come to like PotD, none of the people I know do and havinga fixed group of 4 is neigh impossible.
PF would be valid if it didn't always have to be the same people.
Also, can we have more save slots please? Two slots is too little :( -
