It's been 5 hours. I'm still in the merchandise line. It's been a bit of a mess. Not sure if it's incompetent staff or a bigger issue.

I would imagine that a person would go to the fan fest for in person interaction with others players and to maybe get chance to meet the dev team. If they didn't go for that stuff and just disappointed that more information about 4.0 wasn't revealed then maybe they went for the wrong reasons and should of just watched the stream from home.
The feed is fine. Most of the people presenting are not professional presenters - so its not going to be smooth and glossy. Its real people who are part of the team just trying to put on a good show gor all of us.
I've had to present professionally numerous times and have taught others to do it. Its so much harder then you would think, especially if it not something you do regularily.
I've been watching and found it funny vharming in its rawness. 30£ for several hours of entertainment is worth it. I pay more for 2hrs for a shitty film at the cinemas.
Stream is ok, the only problem so far was the camera kept shaking the entire time during panels.
$40 as a Canadian, which I basically spent to enjoy Yuna's garb. *Edit: Adding I have no issues over the price, 10 is my favourite Final Fantasy, followed by 8; I bare no issues with showing my support*
Personally, I don't find much enjoyment in the lack of professionalism in both the presenters and film crew, though I'm glad you and others do.
The cosplay contest... what a mess u_u
Gold star for trying, wouldn't hurt to invest in something more high quality for next year.
