I'm too tired to understand what you're arguing. You listed a fraction of what each job has going for it.

Listed things are just things related to "healing output", I'm not listing out entire tool kits.
I'm just extremely curious where the mindset of "WHM = super heals!!" come from.

These threads are so stupid jeeze.

Why do people want to homogenize jobs by making them all do the same thing? As a WHM main I've done both Sophia ex and a9s with double whm or whm/D. Ast and it literally doesn't make much of a difference. I don't care about having SS2 during battle. Mitigation isn't the job of the WHM. Let WHM retain its identity. It's never NEEDED any form of Mitigation before because any content that actually requires shielding will be savage content and the WHM will be paired with a Sch or ast in any pre-made. Any other pug shit or even Rf sophia is 1000% doable with just about any healer comp it's all about the skills of the healers not the job.

Actually you can't cast it during battle and people are often gung-ho about aggroing shit which makes it impossible to cast half the time. So yeah, it IS available once a Blue Moon but it' because of the playerbase! :P

To further the point I made up two posts. Sure the 5% spell speed is good and can increase the numbers as well, but none of that will come close to getting the base heal output of WHM overall. Also,
fairy illumation: 120 recast, 20% heal increase, 20 duration.

synastry: 90 recast, 20% heal, 20s duration

Divine Seal: 60 recast, 30% heal, 15s duration + Presence of mind: 150 recast, 20% spell recast, 15s duration

Sure the duration is slightly lower, but with a fast recast + 10% more heal increase. It trumps AST/SCH heal buff

so you dont take into consideration emergency tactics, for you the AST use ED when the target is full life (for 400 potency, cause it goes up to 1000), synastry doesnt give 50% of every solo heal to one target, every HoT is defined only by his potency and not his duration, etc...

And by the way, the healing output isnt defined by the sum of the potency of every heals, but by the amount of healing you can do in a given amount of time. And if you want to be a little decent in the calculation, you'll also take into consideration the fact that you cant heal too much at a time either. (cause yeah, a WHM beats everything if he just spam cure III in a standing party of 8 that is full life.)

I forgot about Emergency tactics and the extra bit on ED. I admit my mistake on that, and you are really going to make me write out the math for single and group heals are you? Yes I gave regen only base potency and yes I understand healing output is the sum of potency in given amount. That still doesn't change anything and using that logic in the ( ), that still in theory beats healing output in wide aoe compare to other two heals. Though we are not talking about overhealing either, just healing output soooo..not sure your logic there.

at the moment, whm is the worst in healing solo target, and the best for healing party.

if you want to prove his healing output is the best, bring the math and the adequate arguments.

for regen and medica II, your arguments are invalid, since regen proc 7 times for a total of 1050 potency, where medica 2 proc 10 times for a total of 200+10*50 potency, putting it at 700.

Starting with that, since medica II is AoE, you have to chose if you want to prove your point on solo target or multiple, but either way, your numbers are false.

So dont go saying 'stop embarrassing yourself' or getting all mighty to other forum participant, mostly if you are not 100% sure what you say is true.
