But ya, I"m glad the team makes an effort to make older content relevant. It's more to go back to old things and redo them when you can gain new rewards for them and it increases the longevity of content without letting it down out, which does happen in a lot of vertical progression MMOs.

Dunno, but as a dps I found a complete full party in PF in like half an hour and we did the entire final coil in about an hour (with all cutscenes watched full) even with most of us not knowing a damned thing about the tactics. (unsynced of course). It really is quite doable and at least you get to see the whole story. Give it a try.

My interpretation is having the clear flag from turning in that quest is what they are looking for. I doubt the main scenario will skip coil dialogue for somebody who has turned in the post-T13 wrap-up quest.

The quests will most likely be only a few hours long. As for everything else, it usually only lasts me a month before I start feeling the content dried out.

Yea that's the problem with me too. I don't think it is bad, just not enough. And there is far too much "new" content that places way too much emphasis on older content. I get that they need to keep older content alive for newer players, but c'mon, literally every piece of content that isn't story or 8-man raid related, has us tasked with doing old, played out things.

In all fairness garrisons themselves were not all that bad, it was the fact that it was the only "casual" content to do. I mean no one really had any issues with garrisons the first time when the idea seemed like a nice side project :P Imagine if you had either alexander or sending out retainers from your house, and said house as your only 2 content options >.>

oh yeah and the amount of items you can place is like 5 :P

It's the same thing we will always do.
Find the new dungeons fun and get bored after the 3rd time...:P
I MIGHT not get bored of Gubal, that's the best dungeon the game has imo.
But new stuff looks okay to me, something that'll be for for two weeks and done.
Just how the pattern works here...shouldn't be surprised honestly.

The diadem changes in 3.4 are more like a bonus.Changes that can easily be made.The bigger changes are taking a bit longer and are planned to be released in 3.5.Totally hyped for the entire 3.4 patch :D

Those core changes you may be referring to or hoping for would most come only with expansion packs.

Well, but WoW only gets a X-Pac every 2 years. What's in the time between where we are now? I can tell you.

With Cataclysm you got 14 dungeons for 21 months until MoP.
With MoP you got 9 dungeons for 25 months until WoD.
With WoD you got 8 dungeons for 21 months until Legion.
With Legion you got 10 dungeons which you gonna play now until october/November 2018 or something.

For Heavensward alone we got 16 dungeons in the last 15 months and we will get another 4-6(?) until the new X-Pac.

WoW had 4 years of "bad game" and recently came back because they did one X-Pac good... you want Square Enix to change there established System just to "suprise" people more?! Well, no thanks.
To be honest, I get to often suprised by video game companies delivering crap that I'm happy that there is one company you can rely on. ;)

Also: This is a patch. Not a X-Pac.. if you take WoW as comparison than expect changes and additions to FF14 only every 2 years (like WoW does) and don't demand them every patch.
