How is griding low level FATES for hours in any way an achievement?

The rewards arn't difficult to get at all, it's the fight against bordom and hating the game you have to battle... Not exactly great qualities in content I have to say..

Got into last stage, aka. 30 tokens/weapon and now 1/3 weapons obtained.

In addition of the 30 weapon tokens, I've 40 Titan Electrumshields and 39 Titan Steelshields. Would have continued, but raid is about to start so I'll continue tomorrow. :p

Increase the length of the event then? No need to start messing with drop rates to give people a chance at getting them all.

As I said, I don't even have all of the weapons so trying to act like I think someone is taking anything from me doesn't work.

What kind of reasoning is this?
You think that this game is being played by people who live in a cave with no work, social life, school and other stuff?

It's far away from being impossible, you have 2 months for it. If you started farming the day this event came you would need to do +- 15 FATEs a day to get all the weapons. That can be achieved under a hour.

1 hour a day, if that's too much, then either don't get the weapons or switch genre, I don't know.

It is not impossible. My neice plays 3-5 hours a night and does the fates 1-2 hours a night. sometimes doesnt do them at all, and she has got 11 weapons and halfway to her 12th just casually doing the event. She has friends and spends most the day out having fun with them and only play in the evening.

It is not impossible for someone with a life to get them all in the time given doing it casually.

I finished the grind today.
I started playing when the event launched, and this is what I got from it by running nothing but FATE events every time I was online:

* All combat classes between 21 - 30
* All crafting classes on 20
* All gathering classes on 20
* half a million gil
* 850 FATE events completed
* All minions and weapons and mounts achieved for the event

The grind is long, and in a way it is longer now than it was at the start, because the initial zerg has died down. However, this has been the same formula for every grind the game has ever come up with - it's ALWAYS much quicker to get on it right away, while everyone is doing it.

I can well believe it is hard, if not impossible, to complete if you have a busy schedule with work and family life, but that is not to say the event should be changed to accommodate your personal circumstances.

There's a lot of grinding in this game, you may just have to accept that getting all the weapons is not for you, and pick the ones you like most
