Shame, I like the mask and the minion that came with my reward. But at least we do get somewhat frequently something out of our subs.
WoW players had to sub for 10 years to get even a single thing, a statue, made for them.

Exactly. To be honest this mindset is the root of the state of p2w games today. These people are no better than whales from f2p games.
When I saw the data for the mount I though "something well done like this wouldn't be on the mogstation". I even tried to make quests faster so I could achieve 60 and decided to level up my crafters a bit in case I needed them to get the mount. Now here I am, A sea of salt.
Replying to bolded parts. Why should the rich have an option to buy exclusive cosmetic items? You said it yourself: because there's a chance that these items would not have been made at all if they weren't going to charge money for them. They probably have a separate budget to work with. If the items are not funded with our sub $£€ (my guess is that mog station items are funded by mog station profits) then obviously we are not entitled to the items without paying more than our sub cost.
It would be much worse to never have these cool mounts as an option at all. Same with the promotional and region exclusive items. I would love for everything to be available to everyone but if that's not going to happen I'll take the second best option and watch other people enjoy their items. Wanting to deny everyone a chance at some cosmetic items just because you can't have it smells like jealousy. You can still play the game and ride other mounts.
To me the sub doesn't mean that I get all the creative works ever made for that game without additional fees. It means I get the game, have an equal footing to play it than everyone else and there are no pay to win mechanics. WoW finally implemented pay to win in it's latest expansion but it in all fairness it also went free to play (technically).
I don't think you'll have much success talking people into not buying these items, because most people realize it's just cosmetic luxury stuff that they're funding by paying that extra cost. The retainer service is much much more concerning IMO. Now that's almost pay to win. Never seen a game company so shamelessly abusing the most basic commodity of an RPG, the inventory space.
I've never played a Korean F2P MMO but I'll gladly be compared to a whale. They are amazing, intelligent creatures.

Bought it then converted the price later which is stupid of me, but seriously how greedy of you SE! $30/Eu21 is not acceptable for a subscription game. how greedy.
This was me thinking it would be full of re-colours but I guess I was wrong. Now they are creating content for mogstation only? Man this game must be going down hill...lol
