Why are we doing Expert Roulette for the game's best gear?

Edit: Right after I wrote this, an A6S learning group went in PF lol. That just sounds painful, though.

Because 230 gear is not the best gear in the game. 240/245 is.

I thought I wouldn't actually spell it out like that. Do you know how you get the best gear in the game? You raid, which is what she even said you should have to do. I hope you understand what "best" is, because from what you have said, either you don't, or you didn't know there was 240/245.

I also thought PVP was the quickest way to cap. And you also get a large portion of your cap, just by doing the weekly things. So you know, if you take out the best gear, and you take out the quickest way then part of what she said might be right.

Also, she chose to do it via ex roulette, she chose to limit the time she had to run lore related content, she chose not to run pvp, she chose to not get crafted or Midas gear for the class she was getting lore gear for, she chose not to do the relic, or get the seph weapon, or the lore one for that class. I hope you are seeing a trend here.

Gordias
Midas
Void Ark
60 Dungeons
Hunts
Maybe 50 roulette?

These are all methods of getting lore. There are probably more.

If you take say two runs of each Midas to get your loot, Void Ark weekly, and Trial Roulette, that is 170/450 right there. 5 A ranks puts you to 270/450, throw in 3 Ex and you are capped. There is actually a pretty large variety of ways to cap lore quickly. There is also a large variety of gear comparible to the 230 lore gear.

Pretty much everything she has said is BS. Also when someone is complaining about their gear this deep into a cycle, it's fairly standard to check their setup. Choosing to gear multiple classes is on them, so they really can only bitch at themselves. But honestly, spewing a bunch of bs about it is laughable, and take the validity away from anything they said.

Well, to be fair, she had a good reason to want to get them fast. But leveling every class in the game is 100% her choice, and instead of being happy that she is able to have that choice, she wanted to piss and moan that she not only was able to do that, but also gear up a main while doing it! And mulitiple ways to get that gear so you don't get too burnt out! For shame SE! How could you!?
