Question On HNM's

I think a HNM system could work. IDK how you guys would feel about this. But with the current claiming system they could change it so anyone that is battling HNMs will get rewards. That way everyone is excited about the event. Then the original group that did the claim, possibly give them a bonus, but insure everyone could get rewarded? That would be kinda cool imo. That way you still have a competitive atmosphere to get that bonus, but still wont be completely burned for the next 24-72 hrs. Before they changed XI(not that it really matters anymore to me) i was in a ls that was down right dedicated to getting that claim, but we weren't a LS that used bots so that amounted to like maybe one claim every 8 months or worse... It was pretty painful to experience after awhile.

It wouldnt matter to me i can compromise give us a dungeon you can do every 3-4 days of an instance like ifrit but once a week or twice just saying make it something you have to be the best at beating and if you dont you can wait to go in for a whie so all or nothing not this let me spam it 10000000 times .

people say hnms were hardcore in reality they were only called that cuz you did it every day , but these nm's that are here in this game are more so in a sense take ifrit there were ppl who took a week off of work to spam ifrit to kill it .... not knocking youu who done this but thats a bit much were in XI you had different ppl at different times then you had lifers and all really you would do with kings is camp for 9hrs if each hnm was on different timers and pop last window but what was a rare case the most you can spend 2-3 of faf/nid cuz they hated everyone aspid beside day 1-3 of no camping would pop early sometimes KB yeah was kinda like aspid was 1-3 days of no camping so you wouldn't spend that much time really

now look at Ifrit people doing lifers (who haven't killed ) 12-19hrs hardcore 5-10hrs Active Linkshells 3 - 6hrs (those who have events at certain time zones and not lifers Pick ups or casuals 2-4hrs and these are times of what i heard other ls's do and seen this is per day so you can come up to ur own conclusion but i think having more then just spam spam spam

I sure as hell hope not. 3yrs of that crap was more than enough to make me never want to see another world spawn HNM again.

I disagree that this game needs this. I disagree that any game needs this. It is a waste of time. People are supposed to play games to have fun not camp a spawn for hours.

And I could ask you if you want it, but this game is marketed to casuals and will never have it, why not find a game that caters to your preferences instead of hoping they will change this one? But I won't, so let's not go there.

correction this game is going to change for 2.o and also yoshi released a post about endgame and hardcore stuff and said there is going to be content that casuals are not gonna be able to do

You should re-read that. (or maybe read it for the first time instead of hearing about it through a friend of a friend of a friend.) Someone obviously replaced what he actually said with what they wanted him to say. Challenging content is not the same as impossible for people who play the game on a casual basis. The intended audience for this game is not changing in 2.0.

you suck OP why suggest the least fun part of xi to the devs are you socialy retarded realy only way you feel like your part of a comunity is to stand around waiting on a nm that may or may not pop i despised it on xi and will on xiv if the devs listen to yopur stupid suggestion

i would probably never bother with hnm because i don't have the time, but i think they would be nice to implement so that those who do have the time and are willing to devote so much of it to the game can have that opportunity. and to all the whiners, if it's optional then you don't have to do it. no one would be putting a freaking gun to your head forcing you camp a nm for hours.
