You can still do the 1-50 content as a lv 50. Or since you'd have choice you could level normally, experience it all, then for the rest of your classes, opt them to 50, because why do the same thing 19 times over?

And that's an equally dumb analogy.
The end game is "the best part" to some not all.
As usual, people are thinking only in terms of how it would benefit them in the short term, and not of how it could affect the game long-term.
What happens in practically every single MMORPG when the population levels off and not as many new people are playing? The game becomes top-heavy. What's the result of that? Lower level players complain of having not enough people to partake in content with, they get discouraged and leave.
What this "suggestion" is promoting is a similar outcome.
You might say "well if they want to do content with others, then they have the option to skip to level 50 also". But that's defeating the point... The point is, people who would like to do the tougher lower level content - without being PL'd through it - will have a tougher time of it due to a decreased low-level population.
What you're basically promoting is the potential increased frustration of future players, because some don't know how to to enjoy anything but level cap/end game in a MMORPG.
I know it's easier and more self-edifying to think in terms of solely what you want and what would benefit you and make the game better for you without regard for how what you want would affect many others who may not share your preferences.. However, please try to remember that you are playing with many others and that you do not speak for all of them.
Implement Level Sync, new player asks around and joins a good LS and they sync to his level to experience as if they were his level. Solutions!
Also lets not talk to much about new players when they are already being turned off by the difficulty lol. Fix 1 thing at a time.
This is the stupidest post I have ever read... just close it.. K thanks.. no point in arguing with lazy people who don't understand what kind of games Final Fantasy is.
Players' reaction to the difficulty of the game =/= giving everyone a "Skip to 50 Free" card.
I have no problem with a level sync system, as long as its more carefully planned out and implemented, so it can't be abused the way it was in XI. The ability to sync down 50+ levels and ding 75 in a level 30 area effectively killed any high level groups in that game as well. If it's implemented in such a way that the ostensible purpose of it - friends and family able to group together without concern of level difference - but that can't be abused as a PL'ing system (the one currently in XIV due to the xp chain system is quite enough I think, considering how quickly people are packing on levels with it) - would be fine, in my opinion.

In moments like this one I'd like to have the "Dislike" button, to spam Enter on it... Probably this is the most funny idea that I heard from last October.
I just hope that all of you, people, are aware that the big work about balancing the game is still continuing. So if something NOW could appear strange or broken, it will probably be fixed or it's just caused by the fact that we played since now a totally different game. ( luckily the game is improving, even if a lot of stuffs should still be fixed )
Sorry for bad english.
lol I used to joke around about WoW... Saying that even if Blizzard implemented a "Win Instantly" button that automatically completed all content and gave all the best rewards, there would be people complaining that they had to press the button and it didn't happen automatically.
I said that a few years ago and it was completely in jest.
As time marches on, though, it seems we're getting closer and closer to it.
Once upon a time, the mere suggestion of this thread would have been seen as so unthinkable as to be ridiculous; who ever posted it would be considered either a troll, or paranoid.
Yet here we are.
Anyway... Yoshi's indicated his ideal time to reach 50 is about 3 months as I recall. So I think it's a non-argument anyway.
