What city/town/village would you most want to live in? And why?

I'm relatively new, so I haven't seen that much of Eorzea yet, but so far I'd choose Limsa Lominsa, as was born and in live in a city directly at the shore of the Baltic Sea and also have been on the sea from time to time (on actual sail ships, not passenger ships for holidays and stuff, those don't count), I feel most at home in Limsa

Yes; If they're going to keep the current model of housing, I'd love to see personal housing areas opened up in Mor Dhona and Idleshire.

I don't quite know why but i feel at home in Coerthas. I like to imagine my character resting after a tiring day inside one of these sturdy stone house, in front of a cozy open fire while the snow piles up outside.

I'd choose this place for sure !

I'd say a personal house in Mist when not working, being an employee of the Adventure's Guild means u travel... a lot delivering or kill/guarding crap when ever were ever so I'd probably be in some random Inn most of the time, no houses open in Mist on my server (or gil to buy said small house) so her "home" is a personal room in the FC house in Lavender Beds

I would have wanted to live in Sharlayan before the people all left though! I absolutely LOVE the architecture, the climate seems just about right (cold but not freezing) and there are so many scholars and books around, everything is just seeping with magic, physical labour is delegated to golems and porogos; it's like a town that is made up of mainly a giant university and I could study to my heart's content there <3
A council that is meddling way too much (like with Matoya and the AST jobquests) is something I could probably live with, I'm not enough of a rebel to go up against their will anyway :rolleyes:

Even now I'd want to live there, but in the northeastern part that is far away from any Goblins, good or bad ones. I don't like them, or too many people in general around, and the steampunk modifications in Idyllshire are totally not to my taste either :x
I can deal with one or two morbols, no problem. And if I need a breath of fresh air, I can go hiking to the springs of all the tiny streams up in the mountains.

Yeah, if you're anything above competent, Sharlayan is pretty creepy. No leaving, ever. No discussing and sharing, ever. No disobedience or you'll "disappear."

They'd have our WoL on a leash so tight that we wouldn't even be able to move our body length and probably would have him/her locked in a room while they study the Echo (given ours is supposed to be abnormally powerful in its manifestation) and Blessing.

The AST questline soured me to the region pretty thoroughly.

Plans for Eorzean Territory Expansion, Step 1: End Dragonsong War, Step 2: Retake Ala Mihgo, Step 3 : Establish proper trade and transport through Thavnaria, Step 4: Over Throw the Garlean Empire to Retake Othard, Step 5, Sail to Sharlyon and give them the "Japanese Industrialization" treatment. (In other words, do what the British did to Japan in the 1800s and force them to co-operate with the outside world or be destroyed).

And there you have it, A 5 Step Plan on how to make an Eorzean Empire..... Wait that's basically how The Garlean Empire got started.

I really like Moraby Bay. I'd be living near the Grey Fleet, growing oranges.

Why? I love the wind and the ocean. The area is gorgeous and tending a small orchard is just the simple kind of life I'd like to lead.
