Okay well technically... doing stuff in just 3D does not mean "realism".

Take for example why The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was made in the style it was. Wind Waker, the previous main Zelda game, was done in a cel-shaded style. Also 3D, but not "realistic". A bunch of people complained (for no reason but we won't get into that) and in response, Nintendo said they would make the next Zelda with a more "realistic" design. Then, you get the aesthetic of Twilight Princess.

So what you are upset about is the 2D > 3D conversion itself (which some game series did handle better than others, that is true). But to call it "realism" simply because they are in the third dimension is incorrect.

I like old school yes but like I said some new ones are good, I meant by taking existing 2D titles or colorful worlds and making the change can kill a franchise unless they get lucky.

Though like you just said about morrowind its the same like for counter strike or quake world, unreal tournament the look and feel of the games, like suikoden 1 and 2 or breath of fire 3.

combo system of chrono trigger the boss music the way things were, 7th saga one, I used to play that with friends all the time take turns, shining force 1 and 2 I get sucked into things like that even this game ffxiv has a nosalgia factor which blows me away.

idk what it is I can sit on a old game for hours playing and searching npcs getting clues and junk like that but sometimes on new games I just stand around.

Fact: People would join or come back just for the introduction of the job that they always loved/wanted to play.

Maybe you could even try a cash shop $5 a job class experiment.

I am sure people would buy it granted you gave everyone the taste of variety.

Please no. The last thing we need is for SE to copy EA and Ubisoft. The best thing they could do for this game is to improve the complexity of the AI to be more than just a timed rotation for bosses but instead react to the players. Something like Bloodborne where bosses react to players based on distance and how much health they/player has. Yes its a different genre but the ideas and concepts are universal. Team jump rope is only fun for so long.

I don't think he wants to understand how the process works. It's been explained twice for him and he's still going on about mass releasing them. Since 1.0 we've only had added 2 classes, 3 Jobs and with Heavensward 3 Extra Jobs. That's it. Further, they've only hinted at 2-3 other classes/Extra Jobs since with the recent anniversary event. That's nowhere near the grocery list that's been proposed. It takes time just for one, many at the same time would be unrealistic.
