Optimism breeds determination, when used properly. Pessimism, especially when used in harsh tone is the herald of failure.
I'm not lvl 60 yet, but I remember having people quitting on T9 when we get to 34% on the first attempt.
Like, SRSLY, DUDE? U WANTED A ONE-SHOT ON NAEL???? ON DUTY FINDER???
people treat DF like its only meant for pros.. i suffered my 1st vote kick other day on floor 3 cause i was new.. when asked no1 even told me tactics for the fight.. when they said kick the bard only 1 person said why its his first time lmao
I quit two A1 runs today. The first couldn't get past the trash boss, after the 6th attempt we finally passed 15 minutes for a vote abandon. The second barely scrapped by the trash boss (Both tanks dead, managed to get Melee LB2 off, dots finished it while the last person managed to run around the arena).. hit enrage at 30%. I took my 30 min penalty for that one.
I got all my first kills via duty finder on day one, hasn't been all that bad tbh considering you still need to somewhat think about what you're doing /have somewhat good dmg to complete it.
On the other hand there are those groups who are soooo bad that you just have to straight up leave after the first wipe.
One example of this, I got in A1 no first timers were in this party.
All of the dps ignored the first set of adds and me as OT I had to kill them both, ok np they just wanna put more dps on the boss... right?...
Then 0.5 spawns i go pick him up.
ALL FOUR DPS continue to bash on the original Opressor, adds spawned, they ignored them completely just bashing their faces against that original Opressor. well you know how that ended hahaha...
