Please make the in-game Au Ra (Males) more muscular, reflective of the Artwork

IMHO aesthetics and popularity are the #1 reason that the genders are so different. Two physically distinct clans would be nice, but I don't see it happening. And if they make the guys more like the girls, people like the OP who like buff guys will be unhappy, and if they make the girls more like the guys, people who like dainty girls will be unhappy.

Personally, the Au Ra guys are already way too big for me to consider playing, but I don't think that a little more carefully placed bulk would reduce their eye candy potential. -shrug-

I think their fierceness and toughness will be largely determined by their emotes and animations, though. Even if they are similar in size to Elezen, I bet they will have a very different "feel".

Like I said, I just want a race that looks powerful and imposing, and the concept-art absolutely NAILS that. The in-game counterpart just still looks quite skinny, namely his shoulders and torso.

my only qualm with the au'ra model as of yet is that i wish the shoulders were the teensiest bit broader
i hope a few sliders are thrown in for them to adjust the broadness of the shoulder/chest/waist
it may be a bit too much to hope for though, and i'll still change my race to an au'ra all the same

Well... True... But they could have solved both of these by making one subrace smaller and one larger. Although... I guess then people would just go "aha! look! it's the whole highlander/midlander thing again!" ^^;
But still, it would have made more sense to me than to just "randomly" have the XX chromosome combo be smaller than the XY combo =/

(And speaking of the hyuran subraces... it still annoys me that Midlanders are the only ones who haven't gotten a race-specific hairstyle yet. When the hyur hair was released, it was released only to Highlanders. How's that fair?)

I think they look fine. Also one should keep in mind its still in development. I highly, highly doubt the video we saw was them finished and set in stone 100%.

Here's something to think about: There will never, ever be a race that deviates too far from the proportions of the 5 races we have now. To do so would mean remapping and remodeling every single piece of armor in the game. And the development team has mentioned time and time again in QA posts that getting the armor we have to work correctly is already difficult. They're going to take shortcuts whenever possible.

I stopped at this post because it is spot on. I'd rather have my armor look good on my class than to have clipping/graphics issues because the players peer-pressured the devs into overcompensating muscles for ego.

Shiva looks human...and then they have their father's (dragons) characteristics like the horns, tails, and scales. That's a lot of traits they got from their original parents.

I don't want them to have more muscle at all. I love the slim and sleek yet intimidating look they have.

They have a muscular build though, to be sure. They appear kind of like if you merged an Elezen with a Roe. They aren't fully bulky, but they definitely are not slender.

You can see they definitely have a muscular build. As far as muscle tone/definition goes. There'll be a slider for that like there is for all the races, already.

Wheres the official lore that says they have anything to do with Dragons and Shiva?

All that Ive seen regarding that is pure player conjecture, nothing factual. But if you have a source, would love to read it.
