Small House 20 item limit for Outdoors?!?!?

It's not fanboyism simply because people don't agree with you. The cold hard fact is SE said they aren't going to add more because of server constants. Whether you like that answer or not you have 20 slots to work with.

I assume you meant server constraints? Do you have a reference for this? Server issues aren't really my problem. SE either can or can't build adequate hardware for the game. I now pay a subscription and expect them to provide such things.

So suggesting any improvements to the game is an assault on SE? That's where we're going with this?

Can we please get back on topic with actual legitimate reasons as to why the limit is ridiculously low. These reasons do not include: deal with it, my neighbor's yard will look bad, and phony hardware excuses for an established MMO company.

*sigh*.....if you had follow the forum for the last 2 months, the dev already said they will use the resource to make housing function items, this is not the first time this had been "request", this the 3480234928432897432897482nd times and the answer is the same: wait and be patience.

edit: those who against your idea, simply telling you the 20 items limit are more than enough to decorate the small house garden, and it is truth

I searched and found nothing on raising the item limit (except for large houses). I asked for the reference in an earlier post and got nothing. Multiple people seem to be fine with raising the item limit for large houses, but apparently saying the limit is too low for everything else will just get you flames. So maybe it's not fanboyism as much as elitism. I don't know for sure.

No, this is your opinion. Only one person has posted that they are actually under this ridiculous limit. So I do not understand why so many defend it.

P.S. - Sigh? Are you actually reading anything? For instance, I said the mini-aethyrte was an incredibly cheap teleport and you responded by telling me it's not free. And I already told you I was new so I obviously haven't followed the forums for the last two months...

Server constraints, as has been said, is the reason they have given multiple times. I'm not going to go look for it for you.

And as long as that is the reason, I will disagree with any increases to small houses until I know larges houses are getting one.

I won the first mog house decorating contest in XI, and now I have a small house. You can absolutely make it a beautiful place, inside and out, with the current limits. But, it surely wouldn't hurt to have a few more slots, 5~10 would be great to allow for seasonal decorating changes. My house isn't cluttered at all, rather, it seems much more expansive than some of the places I've seen because of the way I've used the space.

its time se increases the limit of items for ALL houses imo, it certainly is far far too limiting as is. I realize it will never be as good as Rifts design for dimensions, but my personal opinion is that since its such a basic design with very little creativity required, the limits should actually be removed.

if people want a cluttered yard/interior let them! everyones taste is different, its highly personal and tbh any modern mmo should be ready to allow a lot more when it comes to housing

I love my medium house and really enjoyed decorating it!!!! but I too find the limits way too low

will keep my fingers crossed that one day FFXIV will have a much more creative and less limiting desing for homes:o

Large houses absolutely need it more (both in and out). You're right that they keep calling out server issues for the reason that they haven't upped this number. Until they can sort that out, we're stuck.

You can make a decent yard with 20. For me the sweet spot is probably 25-30 for a small.
