I didn't say we don't need another DPS, I just said we didn't need another class that revolves around pets. They can just do another caster DPS without a pet gimmick. Between ACN, SMN, and SCH, I just think we can have a break from the whole caster + pet AI thing for a while. It's fine if they introduce something later, but we don't need it right now.

Am I blind? Forums suddenly speak of new jobs and also new race but I don't see anything in Lodestone so far...

I saw videos and links of the new race in their thread, but no videos of those new jobs here. Could anyone post?

Don't like them? Don't play them. I'll be turning my character into a female Au Ra the day the expansion drops. I'll wait for the buzz of the 3 new classes to die down before trying them as I did nin during the hype time and that was just dreadful.

Was the poll even open to non subbing players at the time? That was a really old poll.

I think what 1.xx players want out of xiv and what post-arr players wanted out of xiv are generally very different, whether small or big.

You know that Yoshida confirmed we'd get a Dragon/Human hybrid race like last year, right? Why are you complaining now and not then?
