Nope, this actually respects the lore in the game. See the case of F'lhaminn.

^she's of mixed blood, we don't have the option to play Half's.
*rolls eyes*
If you put Seeker features on your Keeper, then your character is of mixed blood too. F'lhaminn is considered a Seeker.
Argue whatever you want to get long fangs with that mouth type, but using lore as a reason is bull since the lore is being respected.
Most RP games have you choose a Halfbreed if you're going that route.
Rather than watering down aspects of full-breeds to create the illusion you're a half-breed.
So you're saying that because other players like it, Keroa's concern doesn't matter. Way to make us feel like we matter in the community. :/ Give us a teeth slider then.. or is that another request to be ignored!
Well Bayhone, as I said earlier in the thread (and I appreciate you getting back to me, I was starting to feel all sad and junk) If you put those options in for people who wanted smaller fangs, isn't it very limiting to the player to have only 2 face types and one mouth type to choose from? Perhaps they wanted the fierce look of the top right facial option, to look more seeker, as people say, but they can't, because their favored mouth isnt there. Would it be at all possible to look into adding a seperate set of options, as Skyshard stated earlier? perhaps a slider, or a 'version 1 version 2' system?
All this whining can come down to two options:
- Either they remove the option of having traits of the other subrace in order to prevent "watering down" the aspects of full-breeds.
- Or they make all options available to all subraces... and water-down the aspects of full-breeds.
What's ridiculous here is your argument that SE shouldn't "water down" the aspects of full-breeds while demanding that they "water down" the aspects of full-breeds (allowing longer fangs on a mouth type typical of the Seeker race). You can't use that argument both ways.
It was stated in the lore panel that half breeds are pretty much an act of god miracle. However that is I think supposed to be between races like roe/lala or hyur/miqo'te.
I see the two separated miqo'te races being able to crossbreed as they are indeed the same race, just with a few physical differences. However when you look at F'lhaminn everything about her screams keeper except her name (but thats off topic)
Keeper and Seeker kitties should be genetically close enough to allow for crossbreeding to exist, which is why they decided to add these options. but again, I feel as though they are limiting the player base by choosing to add this option to the select few mouth options. I understand giving the player base options. I'm not even asking for a slider, at this point.
What I -am- asking for at this point is the option to choose your keepers fang length. Short, or long. possibly under the facial features tab in character creation. That way, they needn't bother with updating npc's who have been given this option, as players can fantasia, and choose the new tooth set.
Honestly, at this point, the facial features tab is lacking now that hair is constantly being updated and the halloween event gave us new tattoos. If anything else, having the fang options up there would be a nice addition for keepers. Like I mentioned before, it doesn't take more than 1 minute to pull down the verts on the fangs by a tiny little bit. 3 minutes to take a screenshot of a fang icon for the character creation and maybe less an 30 minutes to put it in the database. Just a thought.
Basically they aren't going to change a feature because you want them to change it because other people may have picked it because they liked it that way.
