Mudra's seem sluggish?

Im having problems with mudras sometimes too.
I see the symbol and hear the sound, but it didnt react and i just throw a shuriken. Worst case is when the ninjitsu doesnt function properly. Had it more then once, that i heard the sound of Raiton and the animation started only to stop a fraction of a second later only to have me queued another skill allready and thus breaking my ninjitsu :(

I think this. I will notice if I am a little too late or a little too early picking my next murda I will get a little snag delay going from 1 murda to the next. HOWEVER, when I am nice and smooth with my button presses, they flow really really quickly into each other.

The best circumstances are when I just find a good rhythm and it flows like water. I think that lag is certainly an issue if its causing you to be unsure of registration, but I think some people are probably experiencing pressing buttons too fast or too slow.

This is true and easiest way to test this is doing mudras in housing area, issues starts when you are in dugeons/raids or any place that has alot of players no matter how smooth you try to press them. Not always luckily but its still rather common and it kinda blows :(

PS: Be carefull when using Kassatsu as there is some dalay with mudra CD reset, it takes almost full kassatsu animation before the reset actually kicksin learned this hardway as i tought it was actually instant.

Yea kassatsu ....failing it because the reset isnt instant can hurt u more than help , now i play safe and use another skill while kassatsu is still doing its thing :rolleyes:

hope SE smooth the mudra chaining because why put a 0.5 CD when the players cant enjoy it where it matters (combat)

Macros are very inefficient for it, for one, you're dealing with 7 mapped buttons instead of 4, two, the minimum wait on a macro is 1 second

I would blame the different feel of mudra timing to your latency. Sometimes it's responsive but you'll notice a delay when you lag a bit.

I really hope SE will do something to remedy this. I love Ninja a lot, but being so handicapped on mudras because of latency really messes with my DPS. They did change something way back then to remedy the lag hits on Titan, so I'm hopeful they can fix this as well.

Yeah, the entire thing seems really clunky at times. Not sure what they were aiming, but they missed the mark.

I'm so sick of that...seems like you can only play ninja if you have a flawless connection of if the servers don't suck that day. The WORST is when even if you manage to execute the mudras correctly, when you go to hit ninjtsu, you hear the little "ching" of it going out but, for unknown reasons it cancels partway through with another "cannot execute at this time" message and you end up rabbit medium because you hit your next skill expecting the ninjutsu to go off.

I'm playing on US servercluster from Europe. I don't fail ninjutsu and do over 500 dps on dummies consistently.
