Summoner here. Though during leveling, if queue was more than 15 minutes, I would go as scholar. Now I don't use scholar at all.

I don't think smn is any danger of dying out.
Summoner is my go-to DPS class when I am not WHM :). I am just not a BLM >.>.
You will probably see more SMN (converted from BLM) in FCoB soon.

Been SMN since it became available (well, ACN) in beta or EA or whenever. By far still my main with highest iLvl too. ^^
