Patch 2.4 Preview

im more than happy with 2.4 :D, if only the release date were announce to be tommorow :p

Focus target, stay close, get behind him when he turn towards you.
Problem Solved.

Everything is dodgeable/stunable in that fight. Trying this fight as a melee really makes it easier

I'm not sure why people would expect any different from Fenrir. He's been a 'summon' in... what, one, maybe two FF games? (I remember him being in VI, and he may've been in XI but I didn't really pay attention to Summoner there so I forget), so that puts him on the same tier as Diabolos and Siren. At least this isn't something like Alexander.

Anyway, all that pushed aside; I noticed in the dungeon preview on the site today that Snowcloak doesn't have a prerequisite listed, while the other two are the usual "beat the main story" - which seems to suggest Snowcloak will actually be part of 2.4's story?

That's not the issue I have with it. The fight is simple if you're paying attention, but the same fight has been used as 2 mid-boss dungeon fights, 1 boss fate fate, an S rank fight, and now we might be seeing it as yet another mid-boss dungeon fight. Unless they introduce a mechanic that drastically switches things up, he'll be the most stale part of Snowcloak before we even set foot in the place.

That is, assuming he's a mid-boss. Maybe he'll be trash this time /shrug

Even if it were part of the story it would have a pre-requisite :X

Edit: Wait I understand you now - its not unlocked after ultima etc so the pre-req must be a storyline mission :P
