NIN 50: Over/Under

shall i change the OP to over under 24 hrs?

Also, this thread just proves how ridiculously casual leveling can be. Not saying its good or bad, just pointing it out ^^

If you no life it, I'm sure some people with get 50 Ninja in 24 hours of straight level grinding.

Not a tough call. Under, for sure. After seeing people got their Nexus in three days, I think I can bet my ash (cit.) on that. I'll be damned if I see it done in less than 24h with the Atma relic too...

I'm sure some people have 16 levequests ready to turn in as well as a bunch of other side quests plus with a potential 118% exp bonus and guildhests bonus people will do this in a day

Well, this is one thing I will say that didn't change much from 1.0. In 1.0 we could power level our characters to 50 in a matter of hours at Nopica's Wells and Wolf Pit. Crafting and gathering on the other hand... was so much harder in 1.0.

72h? lol 12 hours tops, 72 hours will be people working on novus. Oh and i'm not sure why people are saying the armory bonus will help, the bonus will get eaten up the first few levels lol.

To lvl 10 with low lvl quests/leves: 2 hours.

Lvl 10 - 25 Aleport fates: 4 hours

Lvl 25 - 30 Quarrymil fates: 3 hours

Lvl 30 - 35 Costa del Sol/Wineport fates: 3 hours

Lvl 35 - 42 Coerthas fates 4 hours

Lvl 42 - 50 Northen Tanalan fates - 6 hours

Add in some down time 4 hours. 26 hours of full NIN party fate grinding, yup.

Under 24 hours unless the servers catches on fire or hamsters dying of heart attacks

Unless they decide to change something I'd like to present something to the council of Capping NIN fast. Battle Leves give huge exp bonuses (compared to launch.) You can activate leves from anywhere in a zone. Your party can complete the leves for you, even if you are on the other side the zone. So with a friend or two helping you can do leves and fates at the same time.

Definitely way under. I'd expect the first Ninja Nexus weapon within the first week from a very dedicated player/ group. First level 50s within a day (a loooong day), previously collected, oil and mist will make the relic quests basically 2 hours at most, depending on new unique crafting part availability. Previously collected atma, brick wall of book phase, but we've seen people burn through these before, previously collected/ completed sphere scroll, and Nexus burn.

Dungeons won't be a problem for people with at least 2 friends willing to farm dungeons on tank/ healer. Leves are super fast with friends (except the dreaded timed ones -- best to figure out those before hand and not do them), FATES are super fast/ easy with friends.

Most people will probably take 2 weeks and actually read quest text and go at a leisurely pace. Some people will want to be first and play like their lives depend on it.
